From the very first day of our stay, Irish Mike made our experience absolutely unforgettable. He greeted us with such warmth and genuine kindness that we immediately felt welcomed. His sense of humor had us laughing within minutes, and it truly set the tone for an amazing trip. Not only was he friendly and funny, but he also gave us fantastic recommendations that turned out to be some of the highlights of our stay. From great spots to visit to tips that led to some unexpected luck at the casino, Mike seemed to know it all. It was clear he has been in this field for a long time — his professionalism, confidence, and natural ability to connect with people really stood out. What impressed me most was how passionate he is about his job. You can tell he truly cares about the guests and takes pride in making sure everyone has the best possible experience. That kind of dedication is rare, and it makes a world of difference. Overall, we had an amazing experience, and it honestly wouldn’t have been the same without Irish Mike’s help. They are incredibly lucky to have him as their doorman — he is a true asset and a big part of why we can’t wait to come back.

one of the best locations in the city, sitting directly on the river with easy access to the Riverwalk and great views in every direction. Walking out and being right by the water immediately elevates the experience. The building is large and busy, but well run. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious, especially those with river views. Common areas feel lively without being chaotic. Service is efficient and professional, more polished than warm, but reliable. Not a boutique or intimate stay, but a solid, well located hotel that delivers on views, convenience, and comfort. A strong choice if location matters most and you want to be right in the middle of everything without sacrificing space.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service – at Sheraton Chicago Riverwalk. My name is Tommy Lee and I checked in this morning at the Sheraton Chicago Riverwalk with my wife and daughter after a rough flight. We were exhausted and my wife wasn’t feeling well, and we were already stressed because our reservation was accidentally booked under the wrong Bonvoy account (something that caused a big problem at another Bonvoy hotel recently). Before I could start sharing what happened, Tai, the gentleman at the front desk immediately put us at ease and said, “Don’t worry, we’ll take care of you.” And he did—quickly, professionally, and with an incredible attitude. His energy, kindness, and confidence completely changed our mood and set a good tone for our entire weekend. I don’t usually write reviews, but Tai deserves special recognition. Best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. He should be training others. Thank you for the start of a great weekend Tai. If the rest of the weekend goes like the first 15 minutes it will be great. Sincerely, Tommy Lee

We had a conference the Sheraton. The hotel was great! My room was clean. The employees were helpful and friendly. My man Michael from valet took great care of my truck. The hotel accommodated our conference very well. I loved my view. The club food was delicious!

The hotel is conviently located to walk to many sights and is right on the river so request a river view room. I was attending a conference at the Hyatt across the river and you had to walk across a bridge and up and down 3 flights of metal stairs, scary in the rain. The room was good sized, with a desk, comfortable reading chair with ottoman, large closet, coffee machine and mini fridge. It looked newly refurbished. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were to large and firm for my liking. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can walk to a Whole Foods and Riverwalk is right there, a big plus for summer visitors. You have to dial 80 to connect to front desk or room service. I would definitely stay here again due to proximity to sights, comfort and I felt safe during my stay. Note: you will be charged an extra $30 fee daily but will receive $15 of credit to use at the restaurants and bar.

We got a room for Christmas Eve along with breakfast for the next day at the Cafe. The room with a view was exquisite and the lunch at the takeout cafe, while a little pricey, was great as well. There was plenty of real estate to sit and enjoy the time, easy access to the Riverwalk, and restaurants were a short cab ride away. I would like to emphasize the food at the Riverside Cafe, it was phenomenal! The service was wonderful as well. The variety of food at the buffet was extensive and so tasty that I had to give compliments to the chef. Everything was very flavorful without being salty. Well done, bravo to all! Thank you for a memorable experience.

I had an excellent stay at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk. The location right on the Chicago River is fantastic, with beautiful views of the river, Lake Michigan, and the Chicago skyline. The nighttime views are especially impressive when the city lights reflect on the water. The hotel is also just a short walk from Michigan Avenue, which makes it very convenient for exploring downtown Chicago. I really enjoyed the spacious two-story lounge on the upper floors, the pool terrace overlooking the riverfront, and the clean, well-equipped rooms. Service was excellent throughout the stay, and the overall experience felt polished and comfortable.

Great location—just steps from the Riverwalk, the Magnificent Mile, and Navy Pier. Our room had a wonderful city view; a little dated, but very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, which is a big plus after a full day out and about. A good night’s sleep is everything for us, and this place delivered. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there’s a Shula’s Steakhouse right in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was $38 per person, so we skipped it and walked to a café across the street instead. Overall, a fantastic location with comfy beds. Would stay again.
